Event Picture:

Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is used to investigate sodosilicate glass around the boson peak frequency range at temperature form 13 K to 295 K. we successfully detect the BP at low temperature. In addition, we compare obtained spectra with results of low-temperature heat capacity measurement as well as discuss temperature and composition dependence on the BP frequency. In the obtained THz spectrum of Na2O4SiO2, the BP is observed at 1.2 THz at the lowest temperature.
