Exploiting Graphene-based Subwavelength Metal Wire Grating To Achieve Deep THz Modulation

Here we demonstrate a THz modulator design by integrating a Fabry-Perot resonance structure with a non-resonant field-effect of a sub-wavelength grating. We achieved >95% modulation depth at the Fabry-Perot resonant frequencies.
