Output Cavity Of Gyroklystron Operated In Dual Band

Abstract— Gyroklystron operated in dual band has profound research significance as a high-power microwave source, which can reduce the size, weight and cost and contribute to the research of dual-band radar systems. In this paper, the theoretical analysis and simulation are used to design the output cavity operated in dual band, the center frequency and quality factor of which are 9.34 GHz and 122 in X-band TE011 mode, 16.8 GHz and 475 in Ku-band TE021 mode respectively. It lays a foundation for the beam-wave interaction of the dual-band gyroklystron.
