Probing The Low-Temperature Phase Transition In ErxY1-xFeO3 By Terahertz MagnetospectroscopyKeynote (MM21)

We have performed terahertz magnetospectroscopy measurements on ErxY1-xFeO3 as a function of magnetic field, temperature, and yttrium composition (x). Combined with theoretical modelling based on an extended Dicke Hamiltonian, our work elucidates the role of cooperative long-range interactions between Er spins and Fe magnons in the low-temperature phase transition that this material system exhibits.
