Simulation Of A W-band Single Grating Rectangular Waveguide Amplifier Based On Combined ResonancesPoster (FACIL-P1)

In order to identify the influences of the combined resonances on the performance of devices, W-band single grating rectangular waveguide amplifiers based on combined resonances and Cerenkov resonance are designed and simulated, respectively. The results show that the gain and bandwidth can be improved by utilizing the cyclotron beam and multi-resonances compared with only using the Cerenkov resonance. The amplifier based on the combined resonances is sensitive to the variation of the external focusing magnetic field.
