TERAHERTZ EMISSION SPECTROSCOPY OF PHOTOGALVANIC EFFECT IN DOPED Bi2Se3 THIN FIMLSPoster (OPTO-P2)

The transient current in the thin Co/Bi2Se3 film induced by ultrafast laser pulses was detected by using THz emission spectroscopy. The THz signals can be observed for the Co/Bi2Se3 sample, whereas there is no signal detectable for the Bi2Se3 sample. The THz signal is also absent by replacing the Co layer with the Al layer. The ferromagnetic layer dominates the THz emission to some extent. The THz emission originates from the bulk effects in the Bi2Se3 films doped by the ferromagnetic material.
