Terahertz Scattering Microscopy For Dermatology Diagnostics
Poster (CHEMBIO-P2)Fri, 13 Nov 2020 01:15am to 03:00am
We have set up a 0.6 THz microscope operating at non-normal incidence, aiming at detecting buried anomalous structures in the human skin via the observation with a terahertz camera of the focal spot image of the reflected beam. The penetration depth of up to 1 mm is suitable e.g. for early skin cancer detection.
