Author Instructions for the abstract submission
The abstract submission system is live. Deadline for abstract submission: May 1st, 2026 (MDT).
For authors submitting for the Best Student Paper Award, please provide a two-page abstract.
1. Confirm that your updated, final abstract is prepared using this template: IRMMW-THz2026_ABSTRACT_template
2. Convert your paper to the IEEE compatible PDF
Navigate to IEEE PDF eXpress site.
Login to your profile using conference ID 61726X
Go to “Dashboard” and then create a new title.
Enter the paper title, then upload your file and convert.
Once converted, you will download the IEEE compatible PDF for then uploading it to our submission system
3. Submit your abstract through the conference submission system in Whova:

Confirm that your updated, final abstract is prepared using this template: IRMMW-THz2026_ABSTRACT_template
- Convert your paper to the IEEE compatible PDF:
- Navigate to IEEE PDF eXpress site.
- Login to your profile using conference ID 61726X.
- Find your abstract in the table.
- In the "Action" column press the circular arrow with popup title "Try again".
- Go through the process on screen and upload your final abstract when promted.
Please check that you maintain the same paper ID as the original submission. Do not create a new title.
- Go to your submission page and upload the PDF abstract generated by IEEE PDF eXpress using the “Attach” button during the final abstract submission process.
Only authors who submit an abstract by May 1st, 2026 (MDT) and whose abstract is accepted by the TPC committee are eligible to submit a final extended abstract (maximum 2 pages) by August 15th, 2026 (MDT).
