The 2023 48th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz) will be held in Montreal, Canada, from September 17th-22nd.
Montreal is Canada’s second largest city, home to some of Canada’s best museums and consistently ranked as one of the safest in North America. Montreal is well-connected to the international community, with daily direct flights to major cities worldwide. With its blend of French-Canadian culture, world-class restaurants, and beautiful fall weather, Montreal is an excellent destination for IRMMW. This is the first time the conference is being held in Canada.
IRMMW-THz 2023 is being organized by a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) with representation from Canada and the United States, which consists of researchers working in the many areas that represent the IRMMW-THz community. You can find them listed on our Committees Page.
The conference will be hosted at the Centre Mont-Royal, located in heart of downtown Montreal. Conveniently located near numerous hotels and in the center of Montreal, there are countless bars, restaurants, and activities nearby. In addition, there is an exciting social program planned, complete with a scenic excursion to view the world-famous fall foliage in the Laurentian Mountains. We look forward to welcoming you in Montreal!
