All attendees must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities.

Registration Fees and Payment Deadlines
The registration fee is based on the date of registration and payment. If you want to benefit from the lower fee, please, register early and pay by the deadline.
At least one author per paper must register. One registration can cover up to three (3) papers on which the person who is registered is an Author or co-Author.
If you are an author who has submitted a paper or poster:
Please note that all papers or posters accepted for the conference must be presented by the author or a designated representative in order to be archived in the conference digest and on IEEE Xplore.
NB: this is NOT a hybrid conference. All papers should be presented live (in-person) at IRMMW-THz 2026 Conference.

Registration fees are VAT 0%, no VAT will be added.

- Welcome Reception on Sunday, October 11, advance registration required
- Gala Dinner on Wednesday, October 14, advance registration required
- IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology Reviewer’s Thank-You Reception on Thursday, October 15, advance registration encouraged
- Access to technical sessions, poster sessions, plenary speeches
- Coffee breaks and lunches, Monday – Friday, according to program
- Electronic proceedings
- Student registrations only: Access to student workshop, October 11, advance registration required
Accompanying person fee U$D 90
The accompanying person fee includes:
- Welcome Reception on Sunday, October 11
- Gala Dinner on Wednesday, October 14
Invitation letter for visa:
If you need an invitation letter for visa applications, contact secretariat@irmmw-thz.org
Note that invitation letters will only be extended upon request and only after full registration and fees payment. A signed invitation letter will be emailed to the requesting party at no additional cost.
Payment and confirmation:
Full payment of the registration fee is to be made prior to the conference in dollars (U$D). When registering online, you will receive instant confirmation of successful registration to your email. Please note that invoicing will end two weeks prior to the event.
Payment options:
Credit card: Visa and MasterCard are accepted. (please check you card restrictions in advance)
Cancellation and refund policy
Before August 1, 2026, a processing fee of U$D 50 will be charged; no refund will be made after August 1, 2026.
All registration fees covering a paper are non-refundable.
The registration can be transferred to co-author / another person from the same organization free of charge.
Invoices: An unpaid registration is NOT a cancellation and cancellation fees will also apply to any unpaid registrations.
Please note that no-show does not constitute cancellation. In case of no-show, the registration fee will not be refunded. Please note also that the fees are payable even if you cannot make the conference.

Visa-related cancellations
It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain a visa in due time for attending the conference. Failure to obtain a visa is not considered a valid reason for a refund. We recommend initiating the visa application process well in advance.
